FDA Food Facility Registration: 2026 Is a Renewal Year

FDA Food facility registration is renewed every two years, in even-numbered years. 2026 is a renewal year, and the window is October 1 – December 31, 2026. Renewal requires your facility’s DUNS information to match your registration exactly, and some facilities must submit additional attestations.
Who needs to renew?
Every domestic and foreign facility that manufactures, processes, packs, or holds food for U.S. consumption, including dietary supplements.
What happens if you miss the deadline?
FDA treats your registration as expired.
Food shipments can be held at the border, because Prior Notice requires a valid registration number.
You will have to register again and may face shipping delays while you do.
Renew with Provision.
Whether you are an existing client or a new one, Provision can renew your food facility registration. We’ll check all of requirements and submit your renewal for you, so you don’t have to risk a rejected or expired registration.
